How long does shipping usually take?

How long does the hair last?

You should always treat your weave like you would treat your own natural hair, which is with proper care. If you put little work into making sure that your hair is taken care of, you will get poor results. Always care for your hair with love and patience. Our virgin hair typically lasts for 2 years, depending on how well you take care of the hair! Our customers have used our hair for multiple installs.

How often should my hair be washed?

Our definition of washing is CONDITIONING. NEVER shampoo! Shampooing strips the luster from your bundles and dries your hair out. You should always treat your weave as you would treat your natural hair. A constant cleansing means constant hair flow. Condition your hair before installing for the BEST results and co-wash your hair at least once a week. Our ‘Juicy Jerry Curly’ and ‘Daring Deep Wave’ hair and other curly/wavier textures will need more maintenance compared to ‘Body Wave’ and ‘Straight’.

Can the hair be straightened and/or curled?

Yes, because it is 100% virgin. The hair can be straightened, curled, and even blow-dried (we recommend this at a cool temperature). We recommend using heat protectant to protect your hair from shedding and heat damage!

Can this hair be bleached and/or colored?

Yes, our virgin hair is 100% virgin and unprocessed! For the best results, you should go see a professional. Please note: WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ON YOUR BEHALF.

Does this hair shed?

There is minimum shedding. Reasons for shedding: over-working the hair, constantly applying heat to it, over-processing with bleach/color, wefts not sealed, etc. The hair should be treated like your real hair! Maintenance is very important.

How many bundles should I get?

We recommend 2-4 bundles, depending on the look you’re going for. We also recommend our closures and frontals for low maintenance for your natural hair.

For bob lengths, we recommend 2 bundles.

Lengths 14″-22″, we recommend 3 bundles for fullness.

Lengths 24″-30″, we recommend 4 or more bundles.

The longer the hair, the shorter the weft and the thinner the bundle!

What is the best way to care for my hair?

It is best to treat this hair as you would treat your own.  Use very little product to avoid your hair being greasy and weighed down. BioSilk Silk Therapy is the best silk serum for silky and laid hair! 100% Glycerin Oil is a great oil that our company would recommend you use for our curly and wavy textures!

Classes

How long are classes typically?

Normally 4 hours; Classes solely depend on you. Class normally starts at 10am and ends around 3pm, sometimes sooner depending on how fast you learn.

Should I have experience with the sewing machine before class?

No! I was a beginner before I learned how to make wigs with the sewing machine. I just ask that you remain willing and open to learn.
